Brentford v Stevenage, npower League One, Griffin Park, December 22 2012
Referee: Simon Hooper
Assistants: Ian Fissenden and Rob Hyde
Fourth Official: Grant Taylor
This is Mr Hooper’s fifth season refereeing Football League games and he has been in charge of Brentford six times in that period.
His first Bees appointment was the 1-1 draw with Aldershot Town in October 2008 and his other five games have seen Brentford at Griffin Park.
There were two 3-1 losses – by Bristol Rovers in September 2009 and Rochdale in August 2010 – and he was in charge of Brentford’s 1-0 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion last March.
He was the man in the middle when these teams mate at Griffin Park last year, a match Stevenage won 1-0.
His last Brentford game was a 3-0 win over Bury in April.
Brentford will be in their red and white kit.
