Brentford's first trip to Dorchester for a League match saw Paul Evans pull out with a hamstring injury, Ijah Anderson returning from suspension and Mark McCammon making his first appearance of the season on the subs bench.Gavin Mahon took the skippers armband. Gareth O'Connor took first blood with a close range shot but twentry seconds later a long range kick by Oli Gott found Stephen Hunt incredibly with just the keeper to beat and he stroked the ball over Cherries goalkeeper Gareth Stewart in just four minutes.

On twenty three minutes Jason Price's pinpoint cross, Stephen Hunt's head missed a sitter when it looked easier to score. Two minutes later Ben Burgess hit the foot of the post from Lloyd Owusu's pass, Brentford bossing the game so far.

On thiry minutes, a direct free kick for AFCB went close, Brian Stock's curling shot just went past the post. Paul Gibbs nearly scored with a direct free-kick from a soft challenge on Stephen Hunt. Shortly afterwards he was booked for a foul on Carl Fletcher and Jason Price also entering the referee's notebook for
fouling Elliott to add to Ijah Anderson's booking ealier in the half.

Bournemouth's best chance came on 58 minutes, Holmes laying the ball off for Elliott who shot just wide on the right hand side. Brentford made a substitution on 59 minutes with Mark Williams coming on for the injured Kevin O'Connor. A bullet header from Ivar ingimarrson forced Gareth Stewart into a good save.Mark Williams percievered after all seemed lost, the ball came to Lloyd Owusu his shot was blocked but the ball fell to Stephen Hunt and his shot from six yards blasted he ball in the net.

After scrappy play in the second half Stephen Hunt made a rash challenge with a two footed tackle which resulted in a straight red card. Mark McCammon made his first appearance of the season, replacing Big Ben Burgess. Brentford played out the rest of the game at their pace, winding down to collect a valuable three points.

Darren Powell was booked for dissent just before the final whistle.
