Brentford got back to winning ways with a comprehensive win over Wrexham at a chilly Griffin Park
Stephen Hunt got The Bees off to a flying start with the first goal on five minutes, Lloyd Owusu's ball from the left side of the area found the Irishman, who tucked the ball home for his third goal of the season.
The rest of the half was fairly scrappy but Oli Gottskalksson was called into making two fine saves on 25 minutes, firstly from Shaun Holmes and then Andrew Morrell, blocking the latters at point blank range.
Five minutes after the break, Brentford doubled their lead, Ben Burgess' left foot volley from another Owusu assist beating Rogers in the Wrexham goal.
On 62 minutes, Brentford effectively wrapped up the match, Ivar Ingimarsson meeting Paul Evans pin point cross to hit the ball right footed from 18 yards for his forth goal of the season.
With 22 minutes left, Wrexham striker Lee Trundle was sent off for elbowing Micheal Dobson, completing the Welshman's misery.
One comical moment of the game occurred when Brentford were making their first set of substitutions. Stephen Hunt took the rightfull applause from the Griffin Park
crowd as he thought that his time was up, only for Ben Burgess' to be called off the field. On realising this, Stephen quickly scurried back to his left wing position!
Another three points and no bookings. hopefully making a good run in to Christmas.
