Loan move to Wanderers for Development Squad Defender

Development Squad defender Aaron Pierre has joined Sky Bet League Two Wycombe Wanderers on loan.
The left sided player, who turned 21 earlier this month, has been at Brentford since the summer of 2011 and signed a new one-year contract in the summer of 2013.
He linked up with Wycombe this morning and has agreed to stay with the Buckinghamshire side until Sunday March 30 (check)
Aaron played 19 games from Brentford’s Development Squad in the Under-21 Professional Development League last season and also made his First Team debut in a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie against Southend United.
He was an unused substitute in four further First Team games.
He has made two further First Team appearances as a substitute this season, in a Capital One Cup tie against Derby County and a JPT game against Dagenham and Redbridge, and played in all 12 games for Brentford’s Development Squad in the Under-21 Professional Development League.
Ose Aibangee, Brentford Academy Director, said: “This is an important move for Aaron.
“He has an opportunity to go to a Football League club and be involved with a First Team squad, preparing for matches.
“Wycombe are fighting to avoid relegation, the stakes could not be higher for them and that is the sort of challenge a player should relish.
“Aaron will have to fight for his place and prove he is good enough to play at that level.
“Wycombe are a good club that will look after Aaron and give him a chance to succeed.
“This loan will be great for his development and we will see how he goes over the next few weeks.”
Wycombe are currently 21st in League Two, five points clear of the relegation places.
They play eight games in March.
