Defender completes loan spell at Griffin Park

Ben Nugent has returned to Cardiff City following the completion of his loan spell at Brentford.
The central defender made five appearances for The Bees in his time at Griffin Park, scoring twice in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy against AFC Wimbledon and Peterborough United.
The 20-year-old also made five appearances for the Development Squad.
Ben came through the ranks at the South Wales club and was handed his First Team debut last season by Cardiff boss Malky Mackay, a former international defender himself.
He played 12 games in The Championship for Cardiff last season and played a role in the Welsh club winning promotion to the Premier League.
Speaking after his return to the Welsh capital Bees boss Mark Warburton said: “Everyone at Brentford Football Club would like to thank Ben for his efforts and professionalism over the last few months.
“We hope very much that he enjoyed his time at Griffin Park and that he returns to Wales better for the experience.
“We look forward to watching Ben's career develop in the months ahead.”
Kadeem Harris has also returned to Cardiff at the end of his loan spell.
Kadeem played 11 games for The Bees, scoring once.
All at Brentford FC wish Kadeem and Ben all the best for the future.
