Charlie Adams has joined Skrill Premier Barnet on a Youth Loan for the rest of the 2013/14 season.
The 19-year-old Development Squad attacking midfield player linked up with the North London side this morning.
He has signed a deal to keep him with the Skrill Premier outfit for the rest of the season.
It includes a clause to call him back to Brentford after the first 28 days of the loan if required.
Charlie signed a new two-year Development Squad contract last summer after making his Football League debut as a substitute in an npower League One game against Carlisle United just under a year ago.
He made 19 appearances in the Under-21 Professional Development League Two South last season and scored seven goals.
This term he has played nine Under-21 league games and scored twice.
He has also been an unused substitute for the First Team on four occasions.
Ose Aibangee, Brentford Academy Director, said: “This will be Charlie’s first loan move and it will be important for him.
“He has played well at Under-21 level and forced himself in to the First Team training group and match day squads.
“Conference football will be a different challenge for him and will help his development.
“Barnet are pushing for promotion and Charlie will be playing high-pressure football.
“He will also get used to training in a different environment.
“We will monitor him over the next few months and see how he has progressed when he returns.”
Barnet are tenth in the Skrill Premier and have 16 games left to play.
They are five points outside the Play-Off places.
