Brentford's Sky Bet League One match against Crawley Town called off

Brentford’s Sky Bet League One match against Crawley Town has been postponed.

Heavy rain has fallen in West London recently, with more falling overnight, and the Griffin Park pitch is sodden.

There are puddles on the pitch, the water table is very high and water is not draining as well as previous days.

Match referee Stephen Martin inspected the pitch and deemed that it would not clear in time for play.

Details on when the match will be played will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.

The Brentford FC Ticket Office will be open from 11am until 2pm for the purchase of tickets for upcoming matches.

They will be serving people who come to Griffin Park; no telephone orders will be taken.

The Bees Superstore will be open from 12noon until 2pm.
