Brentford have signed Cardiff City winger Kadeem Harris on loan until the start of 2014.
The 20-year-old completed the move this morning and will train with the Brentford squad ahead of the Sky Bet League One game against Colchester United tomorrow, Saturday October 19.
Kadeem has been with Cardiff since January 2012, when he moved from Wycombe Wanderers.
The move comes days after Kadeem excelled on the left wing in an Under-21 Professional Development League Two South game for Cardiff against Brentford.
Brentford Manager Uwe Rösler said: “I saw that game on DVD and [Sporting Director] Mark Warburton watched it live.
“We knew about Kadeem from when he was at Wycombe and he has developed during his time at Cardiff.
“He offers us something that I have been looking for since we lost Conor McAleny to injury at the end of August.
“We need pace on the flanks.
“He will give us pace, directness, dribbling ability and will terrorise defences.
“That is what we need to give us another option for our attacking game.”
Kadeem, pictured above in a race with Josh Clarke, made his Football League debut for Wycombe in December 2009 when he was just 16 and in his first year of his scholarship at the Buckinghamshire club.
He turned professional at Wycombe in the summer of 2011, a few weeks after he was named League Two Apprentice of the Year at the Football League Awards.
He broke in to the Wycombe First team at the start of the 2011/12 season and played 22 games in all competitions before he was signed by Cardiff for an undisclosed fee in January 2012.
Kadeem has excelled for Cardiff’s Under-21 side and made one First Team appearance – in an FA Cup tie against Macclesfield Town.
He will wear the number 26 shirt at Griffin Park and stay with The Bees until January 5.
Kadeem spoke to Bees Player after completing his move this morning – see an interview with the winger later today.
Bees Player subscribers can see a bit of Kadeem in action for Cardiff City's Development Squad against Brentford's Development Squad in an Under-21 Professional Development League Two South game on Monday night.
