Brentford defender Shaleum Logan has joined Scottish Premiership Aberdeen on loan until the end of the season.
The right back flew up to Scotland this morning to link up with The Dons.
He has signed an agreement to stay with Aberdeen for the rest of the 2013/14 season.
Shaleum, who turned 26 yesterday – Wednesday January 29, joined Brentford after leaving Manchester City in the summer of 2011.
Shaleum scored on his Brentford debut on the first day of the 2011/12 season and played 32 games in all competitions for The Bees in his first season, scoring four goals.
He played 53 games last season, including 45 of Brentford’s 46 Sky Bet League One matches and in all three Play-Off games.
Shaleum has made 18 appearances for Brentford this year, scoring once.
Mark Warburton, Brentford FC Manager, said: “Shaleum has been a good servant to the Club over the past two and a half years.
“He has played a significant part in the progress made in that time.
“His contract is up in the summer and this is a chance for him to get a bit of personal security.
“This is an opportunity for him to play games in the shop window and look for a contract going forward.
“We thank Shay for all he has done for Brentford and wish him all the best for the future.
“He will always be welcome at Brentford FC.”
In total Shaleum played 103 games for Brentford at right back, left back and in midfield, scoring five goals.
He made 89 Football League appearances for The Bees, scoring four times.
