Brentford’s latest summer recruit Tom Adeyemi says he is completely over the injury which delayed his loan signing and can’t wait to get started at Griffin Park.
“I feel really good about the move. My injury has completely gone and I managed to get a game under my belt for the Norwich Development Squad so I’m fully fit and raring to go,” said Tom.
Adeyemi spent last season on loan in League One with Oldham and was impressed with Brentford in both the meetings that the two clubs had last season.
The 20-year-old midfielder said: “Brentford beat us twice last season and there are some good young players here which is really good for a team who wants to move forward over the course of a season.”
Describing himself Adeyemi said: “I like to think of myself as a box to box midfielder. I am athletic and like to get around the pitch and maybe I could chip in with a few goals as well.
“On a personal level I want to get as many games as I can and do as well as I can. But more importantly I want the team to do well and hopefully to clinch promotion at the end of the season.”
