Mission Statement

Our long term aim is to continue producing quality elite players, in a safe and secure environment, who will go on to represent Brentford FC. We recognise that the success of our Centre will depend on the willingness of all concerned, players, parents and staff, to take an active responsibility to meet our goals. We will never forget the holistic responsibility we are all charged with, to help young people realise their personal potential. We will endeavour to develop young people who will go on to be a credit to themselves and to Brentford Football Club.

Over the years the Centre of Excellence has been responsible for developing and producing first team players such as Marcus Gayle, Marcus Bent, Michael Dobson, Jay Tabb, Kevin O'Connor and Alan Julian to name but a few.

At Brentford FC we strongly believe in our development culture which means that individual player development is considered more important than results at schoolboy level. We continue to strive to improve all elements of the Centre of Excellence and demand that our players do likewise in order to achieve their potential.

We would welcome any comments or questions regarding our youth scheme. You can contact either Barry Quin, Youth Development Officer or Martin James, Assistant Youth Development Officer at youthenquiries@brentfordfc.co.uk.
