Chelsea were well beaten by a workmanlike Aston Villa side at Griffin Park this evening in the Barclays Premier Reserve League South.
Two goals each side of half time settled it for the Midlanders.
Andreas Weimann (9 mins) and Ciaran Clark (26 mins) both capitalised on goalkeeping errors in the first half, whilst Clark made it a brace in the 50th minute and Ross Turnbull was unable to stop Marc Albrighton scoring from long range in the 69th minute.
