Marcus Bean was signed by Andy Scott in May 2008 after being released from Blackpool. His first season proved successful and he signed a new 2-year contract the following season.
Marcus was born in November 1984 and started his career as a trainee at QPR. He went on to spend four years there making 44 appearances. Two loan spells at Swansea precluded a move to Blackpool in 2006 and it was from there that he joined The Bees in 2008.
