Sam Saunders joined Brentford in the summer of 2009 from Dagenham and Redbridge.
Primarily a right winger, Sam was signed after scoring 14 goals for The Daggers in their 2008/09 League Two campaign.
The 28-year-old was on the books of Charlton Athletic as a youngster and moved around the non-league scene before being part of the Dagenham team that won promotion to the Football League in 2007.
He scored his first Brentford goal towards the end of his first season at Griffin Park and hit three more in 2010/11.
Sam is under contract at Griffin Park until June 2012.
