David McCracken joined Brentford on a two year contract from Milton Keynes Dons in June. The 28 year old Glaswegian is a strong central defender, with Scottish Under-21 international honours. He began his career in the Scottish Premier League for Dundee United and has subsequently played for Wycombe Wanderers where he was installed as captain and MK Dons who he joined in the summer of 2009. He has appeared for Scotland's under-21s and was also named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year for the 2008-09 season.
