John Mackie, who joined the Club from Leyton Orient during the past close season, has today had his contract terminated by mutual consent.

The 31 year old central defender made a total of 16 appearances for The Bees, the last of which was in the home defeat against Morecambe in early December.

The Football Club would like to place on record their appreciation for the manner in which he conducted negotiations to conclude the termination of his contract, and would also like to wish him every success in the future.
