The 46 golfers who took part in the Brentford Annual Golf Day on Thursday, enjoyed the best of this week's weather at the impeccably maintained Fulwell Golf Club, and full credit to everyone involved as the general consensus of opinion was that the Golf Day was one of the best yet.
There was a good smattering of former Bees players in attendance namely Micky Ball, Bobby Ross, Andy McCulloch, Paul Gibbs, Jay Tabb, together with former Bees manager Wally Downes and current boss Andy Scott.
The overall winners of the Team Stableford, for the second year, were Burridges represented by Mark Burridge, Alan Baddley, Terry Cockerill and Bobby Ross. Runners up were Vine Workers, namely Micky Ball, Bill Hagon, Phil Collins and Alan Gale and in third place was BFCCST with Luke and Paul Skelhorn, Alan Barber and Jay Tabb.
