Brentford have been drawn to face Championship side Swansea City away in the Carling Cup First Round.

The tie will be played in the week commencing 11th August 2008.

Swansea finished as Champions of League One last season, ten points clear of second-placed Nottingham Forest.

The Bees last met the Swans when losing to the Welsh side in the 2005/06 play-off semi-final, Swansea eventually losing on penalties to Barnsley in the final in Cardiff.
