Match-winner Nathan Elder has pledged to get back to his best form after notching the only goal of the game in Brentford's 1-0 win against Luton Town.
The powerful centre forward headed home a Dean Bowditch cross just before the half hour to seal the game and could have given the score line a gloss.
"I could have had at least a hat-trick," said Elder. "I just need to practice keeping my composure.
"I felt so much better today, more confident in myself - it came after coming on as a sub on Saturday.

"My attitude was different to how it has been in recent times.
"I have been lacking confidence - the other teams have been able to see it, the fans can see it and the gaffer [Andy Scott] can see it.
"Saturday was a massive turning point - it will be different from now on."
Elder has backed the squad to continue their rise up the table and has his sights set on getting out of League Two.
"The only people that can stop us getting promoted are ourselves," he added.
"No team frightens us, even when we played [unbeaten league leaders] Wycombe at their place we should have beaten them.
"No team has come to us that we didn't think we could beat."
Goalkeeper Ben Hamer said he was pleased with his performance, which drew praise from his manager.

Hamer said it was "pleasing" to be compared to the best young goalkeepers in the country by Scott but stressed he was just doing his job.
"I had to take the pressure off a lot tonight when they were putting dangerous balls in the box and I like to think I have been doing that all season," he said.
"We started the season well and kept a few clean sheets but then had a difficult patch and conceded goals that could have been avoided.
"We had to bounce back and now we have kept two clean sheets in three, which is good to see."
Hamer was fulsome in his praise of his defenders and said the squad was pleased with how things were going.
"We have a couple of wins and a draw in the last three - Friday [at Barrow] will be a difficult away game but I'm sure we can progress."
