Defender Alan Bennett said the team's focus was now on making sure they picked up maximum points from the next two home games after beating Barnet at Griffin Park.
The Bees started their run of three home fixtures in a week with a 1-0 win - given to them by a Marcus Bean goal - and moved seven points clear at the top of League Two in the process.
They take on second placed Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday and Bennett insisted there were no thoughts of relaxing after establishing the lead.
"I don't want to think like that [of having breathing space]," said the Irishman. "We have ten games to go and we have to keep on.
"The next one is against Wycombe and we have two home games to go, we want to get results."
Bennett expressed his pleasure with the current run of defensive form which has seen The Bees concede one goal in the last six games - a dubious penalty at Rochdale.
"That's four clan sheets on the bounce," he continued. "And nine conceded at home all season.
"Barnet played very well, they are on a good run of form and to stop them scoring was excellent.
"We had chances to make it easier for ourselves but the team effort has been tremendous.
"It is results time, performances help but it is all about three points.
"The crowd was great today, we have a big game on Saturday and hopefully a big crowd too."
