London-born Myles was an ever-present at Notts County last season, playing 49 games and scoring four goals. He joined the Meadow Lane outfit two summers ago from Charlton Athletic.

Myles is out of contract at Notts County, but as he as he is under the age of 24, a fee will have to be determined by a transfer tribunal for his registration.

Speaking exclusively to brentfordfc.co.uk, Myles said:

"I'm really pleased to be here, I played against Brentford in both games last season and was impressed.

"The squad is young and talented and definitely capable of stepping up to the next level - people should not be writing us off in terms of making a challenge for more success."

Myles said that the draw of League 1 had made the move to West London an easy decision to make.

"League 1 is full of big teams, and having been released by Charlton a couple of years ago I have to say that they are the games I'm particularly looking forward to - I feel I've got a point to prove, although there are plenty of big games from the off, I can't wait.

"It's a busy start and there are some decent teams to play just in the first few games - it's exciting and I'm looking forward to showing everyone what I can do. I'm fast and a good crosser - there are some good strikers here and I'll put the ball in the right places for them. If we work hard for each other we can get some results, some points on the board and take it from there.

"It was good to be back in training (Myles joined his new team-mates on Wednesday morning) and I thought everyone was in decent shape - we did some running and ball work and everyone seemed OK which was good after the summer break, and in the heat, and shows that we're a professional squad. I already feel like I'm already fitting in well - everybody's friendly and there are no cliques - everyone gets on with each other which is brilliant."
