Brentford striker Myles Weston has admitted he may have changed him mind about his best position after scoring twice on his début.
The 21-year-old, who signed from Notts County in the close season, headed The Bees' opener in a 3-1 opening day win away to Carlisle United and restored the lead after half time with a low shot which went through the legs of Lenny Pidgeley in the home goal.
The speedy forward joked his day could have gone better, if he had scored a hat trick, and said he was happy with his two-goal start.
Before the campaign Weston said he considered himself a left winger - where he had played at Notts County - despite playing as a striker and scoring three goals in pre-season.
"I think my mind has changed now," he said - smiling. "But as I said before I will play anywhere the manager wants me.
"If he wants me up front I will play there, if he wants me on the left I will play there - I just want to do the best for the team.
"At Charlton, [where I started], I was a striker when I was young but they made me into a left winger.
"I can play up front no problem, it's getting used to it again.
"The more I play up there the better I will get, I haven't played up there for a while, I have showed I'm capable."
Weston said he thought the team did well to collect the points at Brunton Park.
"I'm happy with the win and happy with scoring two goals on my League One début," he added.
"Everyone has worked hard in pre-season.
"If we do the stuff we have done in pre-season we will win games."
