BEES LAND WILSON

Posted on: Thu 20 Aug 2009

Brentford manager Andy Scott has once again secured the services of Bristol City defender James Wilson on a one-month loan deal.

20 year-old James, who has captained Wales at U19 level, made 14 league appearances for the Bees during a successful loan spell at the beginning of last season.

Speaking exclusively to brentfordfc.co.uk on Thursday, Andy said:

"Obviously we know James from last season, he did a teriffic job for us during his loan spell and he's always been in our minds as a player we wanted to bring back in one shape or form this season.

"We've been speaking with Bristol City for the last few weeks and I'm delighted that we've been able to obtain James for this initial one-month spell, even more so with Alan Bennett having picked up a knock on Tuesday evening."

James goes straight into the squad to face Southampton at St Mary's this Saturday.
