Brentford have reached a mutual agreement with Marvin Williams to terminate his contract and we understand he has subsequently agreed to join League Two newcomers Torquay United on a short term contract until January.

The former Millwall trainee joined Brentford in July of last year from Yeovil Town and went on to make 24 starts for The Bees in their championship season scoring two goals. This season he has made just the one substitute appearance in the Carling Cup.
