Bees Manager Andy Scott has added to his squad this morning by signing 22 year old Dutch central defender Pim Balkestein from Ipswich Town on a one month loan.

Pim who stands at 6`3" and has made seven appearances for the Championship side this season picked up the Most Improved Player of the Year award at Portman Road last season.

Scotty said: "We are very fortunate to have been able to take Pim on loan. He has played against us for Ipswich in each of the past two seasons pre season friendlies and he likes the way we play. I believe he will be a very good signing and help improve the squad still further."
