Brentford captain Kevin O'Connor said The Bees' squad was very happy after achieving their objective of reaching the FA Cup Third Round.
O'Connor admitted the 1-0 victory over Walsall, achieved thanks to Leon Legge's first Brentford goal, was a tough game, particularly in the second half.
And he said the match seemed to follow a similar pattern to the 1-1 draw between the teams a week before, when Brentford dominated the first half and lead 1-0 but Walsall improved and levelled after the break.
"It seemed like a carbon copy of last week," said O'Connor. "If we could have got the second goal, like last week, it would have been much easier.
"[To be in the next round] was the main objective and we are happy to be there, now we can watch the draw.
"We made a few changes at the back - Alan Bennett played really well and and Leon Legge has come in as well, he was a massive threat from set pieces.
"We need to find a formula that will get us picking up points."
