Brentford defender Pim Balkestein described the performance of goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny as "unbelievable" after the 1-0 away win against Milton Keynes Dons.
The Bees secured the win thanks to a Charlie MacDonald goal but Szczesny was the outstanding player, making a series of fine saves.
Balkestein said: "The goalkeeper was unbelievable, he saved us so many times.
"He is incredible, he is so good, I hope we play a couple more weeks together, maybe we can.
"It was a bit of a lucky win but we scored a good goal - it's great for the confidence.
"Because we did so well against Colchester and Leeds - our defence was pretty strong last week - we had confidence we could keep them out, luckily we did.
"Football is a bit of luck, some times it is for you, other times it is not.
"It's a great result."
Balkestein said he did not know if he would stay at Brentford for another month but it was the first club he wanted to go to if Ipswich loaned him out.
"It's a really good club," he added. "The manager is great for me.
"We have played well the last four weeks, it would be great to be back."
