Brentford manager Andy Scott admitted he was disappointed with the way his team played in the 1-1 draw against Wycombe Wanderers.
The Bees salvaged a point thanks a Myles Weston goal with 15 minutes remaining and Scott said he was pleased to take a share of the spoils given his side's performance.
He hailed the resilience of his team to still be in the match to level up Kevin Betsy's first half goal which gave Wanderers the lead.
"I'm disappointed with everything," said Scott. "Although I have to be pleased with a point after the way we played.
"I said last week the crowd got behind us well but had to accept we will have dips - one came today.
"We wanted to win the game, it was the same side as last week [when we beat Gillingham 4-0] but we didn't produce the same performance.
"We kept going and got something out of it and we looked more likely to get the winner.
"After the performance, a point is a result we have to be grateful for."
Scott said Marcus Bean was "not close" to playing against Wycombe but may be available for the trip to Walsall next week after he was given an injection.
He explained Ryan Dickson picked up a knee injury in training and although he tried to battle through he had to come off.
Scott hailed the performance of substitute Sam Wood and said he, like fellow substitutes Carl Cort and Lionel Ainsworth, gave The Bees extra impetus.
He refused to pick out individuals for criticism but admitted the Griffin Park playing surface was not helping his side.
"The pitch is awful," he said. "But we made lots of poor decisions.
"We didn't play the way we did against Gillingham.
"It may have been over-confidence or complacency, I don't know.
"We knew Wycombe would make it hard for us, they are fighting for their lives.
"We started poorly and couldn't get a foothold in the game.
"We got jittery, people had poor days all over the pitch.
"We have to get on with the pitch as it is, we have to accept the conditions, we can't rip it up.
"It's the same for both sides, and they did it better.
"We looked a little bit lacklustre, which was disappointing."
