Brentford captain Kevin O'Connor said he was "very happy" with the 1-0 win over Leyton Orient.
The Bees' skipper - who has been ever-present this season - admitted the game wasn't of the highest quality but said it was the stage of the season when results were key.
O'Connor said to not play well but not concede and still win was "very pleasing" and added he was happy to revert to right back from his midfield berth if that is what manager Andy Scott wanted from him.
"We are very happy [with the win]," said O'Connor. "Especially at this stage of the season.
"It was a nothing game, there wasn't much in it, we didn't play especially well.
"If you don't play well you have to work to ensure you don't concede and win.
"It's very pleasing.
"Second half, they had one good chance where [Wojciech Szczesny] did what he always does.
"Lewis Grabban took his goal well.
"It was very pleasing."
O'Connor said he has enjoyed the switch back to right back in the last two games and would be pleased to continue to play there if that was required of him.
"When the manager told me I was playing there on Tuesday [against Colchester United] I was surprised but I enjoyed it.
"I have to try and remember what positions to take up - it's about thinking about where I should be.
"I played there for two or three years and it should come back to me, it's just remembering."
