Loan defender Pim Balkestein said he would consider his options at the end of the season but he may move to Brentford during the summer.
The Dutchman moved back to Griffin Park on Thursday on loan until the end of the season from Ipswich Town.
The club has agreed a fee with the Suffolk outfit for Balkestein's transfer in the summer and manager Andy Scott said it was up to everyone at Brentford to prove to him Griffin Park was the best place to continue his career.
Balkestein said he did not need much persuading to move back on loan and gain first team football, but would not commit past the end of the campaign at this stage.
He continued: "We will see what happens. It is better to have a look after a month.
"Brentford is a big consideration, I like it here.
"I'm playing well, for a long time I didn't play at Ipswich, the best thing is to play first team football.
"I know Brentford, it went well here last time, I know the boys and it was good to come back."
