Brentford manager Andy Scott said he felt his team deserved their 3-2 win against Oldham Athletic.
The Bees came back from a goal down to lead 3-1 thanks to a Charlie MacDonald brace and Pim Balkestein's first goal for the club before Pawel Abbott pulled one back with his second of the evening.
The Bees' boss admitted it was probably a bit too exciting for his liking but said the crowd had got their money's worth, albeit most of them would have gone away unhappy.
"It was certainly exciting," said Scott. "Although we probably made it a little too exciting at the end.
"We had the opportunity to allow the crowd to be on their backs but we gave the ball away and allowed them to surge forward.
"There were a few tired legs at the end but they gave everything and deserved the win.
"We didn't start well but when we got the ball wide we caused problems.
"We saw a couple of good goals tonight and when we got back in it [at 1-1] we never looked back.
"We have to thank Wojciech for a couple of saves.
"It was a very exciting game - the crowd saw plenty of action."
Scott said he would be assessing the condition of Ryan Dickson prior to the trip to Millwall on Good Friday but didn't think he would be fit.
He confirmed there had been no new injuries at Boundary Park and expressed his pleasure at his team's run of three wins and a draw in four games in 10 days, three of them away from home.
"When we had momentum it never the amount games we had to play never bothered me in terms of fitness," he added.
"It was injuries and suspensions that would trouble us.
"We have momentum, we understand the way we should play.
"We have picked up ten points from four games and there is no reason why we can't go to Millwall and cause an upset."
