Brentford striker Carl Cort admitted he thought he was offside when he scored the goal that gave his team the lead against Millwall.
The experienced centre forward received a Karleigh Osborne pass and slotted home just past the half hour.
The home defence and fans were appealing for offside but referee Paul Taylor gave the goal and Cort admitted he had got the rub of the green.
"I thought initially I was miles offside," said Cort. "But I just played to the whistle and carried on.
"My first glance was to the linesman.
"I would have to have another look at the video to be sure.
"I couldn't tell where the right back was, the two centre halves were ahead of me when I received it.
"It was a fine ball from Karleigh and I put it in and asked the questions after."
Cort described the draw as a "fine point" and admitted there was a tinge of disappointment his team had not taken all three.
"It's a fine point," he continued. "We have gone in a bit disappointed we didn't win.
"We knew we would be here and be under pressure, they are on a high and at home.
"I thought the centre halves were fantastic, they took and repelled everything [Millwall] threw at them.
"There are a lot of positives we can take."
