Brentford manager Andy Scott hailed the "attitude" and "application" of his players and they fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Yeovil Town.
Sam Saunders earned The Bees a point, which stretched their unbeaten run to 11 matches, with a fine free kick and Scott said it was a good result.
The Bees' boss revealed Myles Weston had to miss the match as he was sick and Danny Foster was about to become a father, which caused him to chop and change his team repeatedly in the run up to the match.
"From 8am this morning I change the side about five times," said Scott. "It's another game unbeaten, we went down to an early set back but from that point on we believed we would get something out of it.
"The attitude and application were fantastic on a hot day.
"To get a point was a good result.
"Yeovil were waiting to get beaten.
"They got lucky with the penalty and until the last minute did not have another attempt on goal.
"We knew they were there for the taking.
"It's 11 games unbeaten now and we want to get to the end of the season unbeaten."
Scott said commenting on referee's decisions had cost him too much money this season so would not be drawn on the penalty.
But he was scathing in his criticism of Lionel Ainsworth - who walked straight down the tunnel after being substituted.
"Lionel showed a disrespect to his team mates, to me and to the club.
"Even if we only have 12 players next week, he will not play for this club again.
"He needs to work on his fitness and will be playing for the reserves on Monday."
