Brentford forward Myles Weston said to only lose two home games all season was a "great achievement".
The speedy winger-cum-striker was named Man of the Match by the sponsors after the 0-0 final day draw with Hartlepool United.
And that meant The Bees remained undefeated at home since October, with only Bristol Rovers and Swindon Town winning at Griffin Park all season.
The point also enabled Brentford to record a ninth placed finish in their first year back in League One.
Weston said: "To lose two at home this season is brilliant.
"That's a great achievement for all the lads and for Brentford Football Club.
"And to finish ninth, that's brilliant for the lads."
Speaking about the Hartlepool draw, Weston said: "They played for the draw, certainly when they knew that was all they needed [to stay up].
"First half we were a bit slow but second half we were all over them.
"We created chances we just didn't take them.
"We were pushing for the win but we didn't lose, and that's a good thing."
Weston said he was happy with his season - and his tally of ten goals - and he felt he had proved himself after stepping up from League Two last year.
"Last season I scored four goals," he added. "Moving up a league I didn't know how I would go in League One.
"I think I have done well and have proved I can do it.
"I'll now have a long break, relax and get ready for next season."
