NIKKI BULL DEPARTS

Posted on: Wed 26 May 2010

Brentford Manager Andy Scott said earlier today: "As supporters are aware I have been holding discussions with all of the players since the season`s end and when talking to Nikki Bull, we decided that it would be in the best interest of both parties for him to move on. He came here last summer having proved himself at League Two level and earned his place on merit less than two months into the season. But subsequently injury ruled him out for the rest of the season and we both agree that now would be a good time for him to move on and establish a first team place elsewhere".

Nikki Bull added: "The six months I spent out injured didn`t help and with the signing of Wojciech Szczesny it raised the bar in terms of what`s required. I certainly learned a lot on the sidelines and at the age of 28 I`m now relishing the opportunity to prove myself again elsewhere. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Brentford which is a great club and in Andy Scott they have a fantastic manager and we depart on good terms".
