McCRACKEN MAKES IT SEVEN

Andy Scott today made David McCracken his seventh signing and he joins the Bees on a two year contract from Milton Keynes Dons.

The 28 year old Glaswegian is a strong central defender, with Scottish Under-21 international honours.

He began his career in the Scottish Premier League for Dundee United and made his debut for the Tangerines in May 2000. He went on and made 179 appearances for the Tannadice club before Paul Lambert brought him south of the border in 2007 to join Wycombe Wanderers.

He was installed as club captain at Adams Park and quickly became a favourite with the Chairboys' fans. He played two seasons for Wycombe making 76 appearances and helped Wycombe to win promotion to League 1 behind the Bees at the end of the 2008/9 season.

At the end of his contract with Peter Taylor's team in July 2009, he joined MK Dons on a free transfer and went onto feature 41 times.
