Karleigh Osborne:
On Cheltenham Result, New Faces And Walsall……
'This was definitely a better feeling than when we (Karleigh and Kevin O'Connor the only survivors from that night) lost 5-0 to Cheltenham 5 years ago. We played pretty well in the first half but made it difficult for ourselves and they got a goal back. I thought we still had control of the game. I was always comfortable and positive about us and that we were going to hold on to the game. I think we are strong enough as a team to keep it going and withstand pressure from the opposition. We started a lot better than we did against Carlisle by getting tighter to players. We were putting the balls in the right areas to cause Cheltenham problems.'
'I am used to the team changing so all the new faces you take it in your stride and get on with it.'
'It's going to be another tough game against Walsall. We are up for it. We want to get a winning run going so bring it on!'

Charlie MacDonald
On Cheltenham And His Fitness……
'When I came on they were on the front foot. It was quite difficult in the second half. We weren't doing the things we were doing in the first half. There was a chance we created that maybe I should have scored but the defender did really well to clear it off the line. All in all the result is the main thing but we need to improve on getting a hold of the game and keeping it. I don't know why we weren't keeping the ball but it's a learning curve and a relatively new team. It will take a little while for us to get familiar with each others games. The first 50 minutes it was plain sailing but it's a 90 minute game.'
'I am getting back to my match sharpness. I need more minutes on the training pitch and match time to get it totally back. I'd only trained once in 2½ weeks (prior to Cheltenham match) so it's been good to get in 50 minutes over the last 2 games. Hopefully I will be back to full fitness soon. I want to be involved with the team as quickly as possible and there are a lot of good quality players here. Everybody is fighting for their position so it's good competition for everyone.'
Kevin O'Connor
On Cheltenham, The Carling Cup Draw and Walsall
'Although it was a long time ago I can still remember the 5-0 loss and it as a disappointing night but to beat them on Tuesday night was very pleasing. We created loads of chances and scored two good goals. We could have had 1 or 2 more but in the second half we sat back a bit too much and invited them onto us. I wish I knew why things like that happen and the manager is probably thinking the same. Maybe it's a mental thing where you have a couple of goals lead and you sit back and relax maybe too much. Sometimes you become a bit more cautious and that could be one reason why.'
'I am looking forward to playing against Hull who will prove tough opposition as they have just come down from The Premier League. I am sure it will be a good crowd and it should be a fantastic evening. With our home record we should be confident going into that game.'
'Looking ahead to this Saturday we obviously want to put right what happened against Carlisle on the opening day. It's a big game against Walsall as we want to get our first win in the league.'
Leon Legge
The Carling Cup Draw And His Visit To The Community Sports Trust H.Q.
'It's a very good draw and it will be a good test for us to pit ourselves against a top Championship side. This is why I am here at Brentford to get a chance to play in games like this. You look at the bigger sides and relish the challenge. They have some decent players still there but we are hopeful that we can get a positive result.'
'This week I also visited Brentford FC Community Sports Trust at their offices and had a chat with the staff. They told me about all the projects that they were involved within the Community. It's amazing to see some of the stuff that they deliver. I was hoping to go down to the Kayaking at Brentford Boating Arch by Kew Bridge but the weather took a turn for the worse so I will get back to them on that. I spoke to Pete Shears about the Trust's Disability Project and hopefully get involved in that.'
