2008/2009 Season
Last season, their first in League One having been our predecessors as League Two Champions in season 2007/08, saw them finish third two points off of automatic promotion. In doing so it meant they had amassed 184 points over the past two seasons. They were second top scorers just one goal behind champions Leicester City. In the Play Off semis they were beaten 7-6 on penalties by promoted Scunthorpe.

Previous Highlights
With so few games between us it's difficult to pick out a highlight. However our 1-0 victory over them at Griffin Park on 28th March 2006 sparked an unbeaten run of eight games until the end of the season which just failed to gain us promotion. In fact had we beaten Colchester instead of drawing against them in the next game we may well have been promoted instead of The Us who eventually pipped us by three points. The goal that Saturday afternoon in March was scored by Lloyd Owusu.
Ground
Their first stadium was the National Hockey Stadium which was open to the elements for away fans (and didn't we know it on our first visit there in 2004). They moved to the 22,000 seater stadiummk in 2007. There are plans to extend the capacity to 40,000 should it get the go ahead to be a host venue for the England World Cup Finals bid.
Attendances
Their average League attendance last season was 10,550 with a high of 17,717 against Leicester City in February, and a low of 6,931 against Stockport County in October.
Mileage
Milton Keynes, 54 miles from Brentford, is the sixth nearest club to us this season.
