ANDY SCOTT
Andy started his professional career when Sheffield United signed him from Sutton United in 1992.
He signed for Brentford as a player for £75,000 in November 1997 and went on to make 136 appearances for the Club scoring 35 goals and being an integral part of The Bees Third Division Championship winning side the following season.
In the 2000/01 season having scored 13 goals in 22 appearances in January he was surprisingly sold to Oxford United fully recouping the initial outlay of £75,000.
He moved on to Leyton Orient in March 2004 and played 50 games before having to retire from the game when diagnosed with the life threatening heart disorder hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
He took up a coaching role at Brisbane Road and went on to become The O`s youth team manager before being named as Assistant Manager at Brentford in May 2007.
He became Brentford`s caretaker Manager in December 2007 and was appointed as Manager in January 2008.
