Brentford signed Jake Bidwell from Everton on a permanent deal in the summer of 2013 after a series of loan deals.
The 21-year-old spent six months at Griffin Park during the 2011/12 season on loan from Everton and returned early in the 2012/13 season, eventually extending the deal until the end of the season.
Jake played 25 games for The Bees in his first spell at the Club, both at left back and on the left side of midfield, missing only three games after making his debut in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie against Barnet.
In 2012/13 he played 50 games in all competitions after arriving in late August 2012.
Jake came through the youth ranks at Everton and made his First Team debut in a Europa League tie against BATE Borisov in December 2009.
In doing so, he became the youngest player to appear for Everton in a European fixture.
He moved to Brentford on a permanent basis in the summer of 2013, signing a three-year contract and signed a new deal this summer, soon after playing his 100th Football League game for The Bees.
Jake was named in the Sky Bet League One Team of the Year for the 2013/14 season.
