Date of Birth: 23/12/96

Position: Goalkeeper

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar 


Nik made the Number One shirt his own last season after a series of fine performances in both league and cup. 

The tall goalkeeper made 17 appearances for Jeremy Steele's side keeping four clean sheets. 

TOM FIELD

Date of Birth: 14/03/97

Position: Defender

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar


Tom is a left-sided player capable of playing at full back or further forward with great energy and delivery. 

Tom was a key member of the Milk Cup winning team featuring in four of the games scoring in the win against County Londonderry. 

The 16-year-old made three substitute appearances in the Youth Team during the 2012/13 season.

He made 17 appearances in league and cup last season before injury ended his season early. 

MAKHOSINI KHANYE

Date of Birth: 11/9/96

Position: Defender/Midfielder

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar


Capable of playing at left back and on the left wing Makhosini made 14 appearances playing up as an Under-16 in the Youth Team during the 2012/13 season. 

He also made his bow for the Development Squad away at Colchester.

Last season Makhosini featured 21 times for the Youth Team with his solitary goal, against Nottingham Forest, capping off a fine team move and being nominated for the LFE Goal of the Month for February. 



AUDRIUS LAUCYS

Date of Birth:5/1/97 

Position: Defender 

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar

 

Audrius is a powerful defender who is strong in the air. 

The Lithuanian Under-16 captain played every minute in the 2012 Milk Cup victory scoring the opening goal against CSKA Moscow in the group stages. 

Audrius made seven appearances for the Youth Team and Development Squad playing up as an Under-16 during the 2012/13 season. 

His first season as a scholar was disrupted by injury with Audrius making 19 appearances in league and FA Youth Cup scoring three goals. 

 


GRADI MILENGE

Date of Birth: 29/10/96

Position: Defender

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar


Gradi is a powerful athletic defender who has come through the ranks with The Bees. 

The North Londoner made seven appearances for the Youth Team as an Under 16 during the 2012/13 season. 

Gradi established himself in the Youth Team last season making 24 appearances in total for Jeremy Steele's Under-18s.

His performances earned him the Youth Team Player of the Year award after a unanimous vote by his teammates. 

Gradi also stepped up to Development Squad football and made four appearances for Brentford's Under-21s during the 2013/14 season. 


DANIEL WEBSTER

Date of Birth: 15/7/97

Position: Defender

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar


A tall defender who is strong in the air and comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Dan was part of the Milk Cup winning side in 2012, featuring in every game, and made one appearance for the Youth Team as an Under 16 during the 2012/13 season. 

The 17-year-old had cemented a spot at the heart of the Youth Team defence until a dislocated shoulder in the Youth Cup tie against Dulwich Hamlet in November all but ended his season. 

In total Dan made 12 appearances for the Youth Team during the 2013/14 season. 

  


JAMES FERRY

Date of Birth: 20/04/97

Position: Midfielder

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar


James captained Brentford to the Milk Cup title in 2012 playing every minute of the competition scoring three times, including the opening goal in the final against Everton.

The tall-midfielder missed much of the rest of the 2012/13 campaign due to injury but returned to make 17 league and cup appearances last season, scoring in the defeat against Millwall. 

Despite being a first-year James captained the Youth Team on several occasions last season. 

 


HERSON RODRIGUES ALVES

Date of Birth: 5/1/97

Position: Midfielder

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar


Herson scored in both the Semi-Final and Final of the 2012 Milk Cup win having featured in all the games over the week. 

During the 2012/13 season Herson featured four times for the Youth Team before an injury ended his season early.

That injury restricted him to only a further four games last season but he did find the net in the 4-2 win over Nottingham Forest.  

ZAIN WESTBROOKE

Date of Birth: 28/10/96

Position: Midfielder

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar


Zain is a creative midfield player who likes to dictate play.

The 17-year-old featured five times in the Youth Team during the 2012/13 season including the 3-0 victory over Swansea City in April.

Last campaign Zain made 24 appearances in the League and Cup for Jeremy Steele's side 


BRADLEY CLAYTON

Date of Birth: 2/7/97 

Position: Striker

Contract: YD4


Bradley is a hard-working forward with a good eye for goal.

A member of the Milk Cup winning side the 16-year-old featured in four of the five games, including the Semi-Final and Final.

Bradley made his U18 Professional Development League bow at the start of the 2013/14 season and scored twice in the friendly match away at AZ Alkmaar in October. 

SEIKA JATTA

Date of Birth: 3/3/97

Position: Striker

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar


Seika is a tall rangy striker with good strength and technique.

Another of the Milk Cup winning side Seika scored in the 2-1 victory over CSKA Moscow in the group stages. 

During the 2012/13 season Seika scored twice in five appearances including in the away draw against Millwall. 

Last campaign Seika netted three goals in 13 starts for Jeremy Steele's side including the winner against Ipswich Town and goals in the wins against Cardiff City and Bristol City. 

COURTNEY SENIOR

Date of Birth: 30/6/97

Position: Forward

Contract: 2nd Year Scholar


Courtney announced himself as a 15-year-old when he was named Player of the Tournament as Brentford won the 2012 Milk Cup. 

A pacey and direct wide player, who can play through the middle, Courtney scored his first Youth Team goal as an Under 16 during the 2012/13 season. 

Last campaign Courtney made 25 appearances in the U18 Professional Development League Two South and FA Youth Cup scoring six goals as well as adding two in the 4-1 friendly win over AZ Alkmaar.
